Loss of Polish citizenship by acquiring citizenship of another country

In accordance with the Polish Citizenship Act of 1920 (article 11, point 1) loss of Polish citizenship could occur due to acquiring citizenship of another country. However, men obliged to active military service in Poland could lose Polish citizenship only after being exempted from the military obligation. The moment the Act of 1920 came into force, the men aged 18-50 and officers up till 60 years old became obliged to active military service in Poland. Then, from 1938 to 1950 such obligation was laid upon men aged 17-60.
