Polish citizenship guide

Stay for up to 3 months

The citizens of the European Union countries, as well as Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland (for the purposes of this chapter jointly called EU citizens) and their family members who are non-EU citizens can stay in Poland for up to 3 months without fulfilling any further conditions of stay. During this period, the EU citizen is obliged to possess a valid passport or other valid document confirming his identity (e.g. ID card), and a family member who is not a EU citizen must have a valid passport and a visa (if required). More on the obligation to obtain a visa, see chapter Visas.
